Tabs and worktrees
Every agent in a real terminal tab, or in your own.
How you live with it: agents and shells in tabs and split panes, per project and worktree, back when you reopen the app. Or your own terminal: read too.
Notarized by Apple. One file for Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later.
Or run it yourself:
Paste in Terminal: it installs Caprock and opens it.Or with Homebrew: brew install --cask dspv/tap/caprock-app
Tabs and split panes
Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI and your shells side by side, grouped by project and worktree.
Sessions from your own terminal
The Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode sessions you start elsewhere open in a tab of their own, live, with Continue here and Hide.
A new agent on a fresh branch
Start from the latest main in a new worktree, with your .worktreeinclude files and setup command.
Several attempts, compared
One prompt in two to four copies; compare what each changed, cost and took, and keep the one you want.
Start from a GitHub issue or PR
Pick an open issue or pull request and the agent starts in a copy named after it, with its text as the first message.
Chats
Ask an agent something without picking a folder, from the app or your phone. Chats are kept apart from projects, with search, and the files one writes open in a viewer. Your Claude.ai and ChatGPT history comes in from their data export, read on your computer.
⌘K to anything
Sessions waiting on you come first; every action, file and session is a few letters away.
Saved prompts and commands
Name what you type over and over, for every project or one, and run it from ⌘K or your phone.
A composer under the terminal
An optional box to write a message in, sent through the queue, with the / and @ pickers and pasted images. Off by default.
Files, find and your editor
Read a project's files in a tab, ⌘F any terminal, and open a project in VS Code, Cursor, Zed or a JetBrains IDE.
Multi-repo projects
A folder of several repositories is one project, with each one's branch, changes, pull requests and spend.
Your other computers
Link a Mac mini or a second laptop that runs Caprock: its sessions show in the sidebar and open with their terminal, through the encrypted relay, no SSH.
Clean up copies
Every worktree with its size and state; finished ones clean themselves up — Off, Ask (the default) or Auto — with Undo and Restore.
Keep awake while agents work
A long run no longer stops because the computer went to sleep; it lets go once nothing is working.
Custom agents Premium
Add any terminal coding agent by its command; it opens from New agent and Quick chat like the rest.
Try it on the sessions you already run.
